Can You Drive A Car With WATER?

Is Water the fuel of the future?

There are many ways we can all help to do our bit in saving the environment. Now more than ever with the economic climate, global warming and every household feeling the economic bite, the future does look bleak. It is therefore easy to put our own problems first and turn from the needs of society and lose a greater global perspective. However, it is in the face of desperate times and such adversity that the foundations of hope, imagination and the core spirit of the human race – the ability to improvise and adapt, have always lain.

Has the time come for new technology to embrace the oldest of resources?

Water…

Can a car be run on water? Well, as we speak there are now thousands of successful water-conversions around the world and already, some industry insiders are saying that water-burning technology will be the standard in new automobiles and most cars will be running with water and gas within the next 5 to 10 years!

To date, Thousands of cars have been safely converted without any issues or incidents. With just one quart of water, a vehicle engine can power up with over 1800 gallons of HHO gas which can last for months! What that means, is a significant increase in vehicle fuel efficiency, quality improvement in vehicle emissions and can save individuals thousands of dollars!

So, is it really possible for a vehicle to be powered by our oldest resource? Absolutely! because fuel energy can be extracted from water when used as a supplement to gasoline (petrol) or diesel fuel and by using electricity from a car/truck’s battery to separate water into a gas called “HHO” (2 Hydrogen + 1 Oxygen) also called Brown’s Gas or Hydroxy which burns smoothly and provides TONS of energy – the end product is just Water (H2O)!

The benefits of which are said to be enhanced engine power and performance with a longer life expectancy, especially pistons, valves, rings and bearings. Most conversions are reversible and simply act as an add-on catalyst for better combustion of gasoline and significantly increase fuel efficiency. Conversion itself is very safe! as combustible gas is extracted as needed and burned steadily from the water and it doesn’t store any combustible gas as all the hydrogen is being used as it is produced, immediately.

And all by the use of our oldest resource – water, plain tap water!

PAST LIFE REGRESSION – Removing Lifestyle Blockages

Traditional Hypnotherapy is a great tool for alleviating blockages to Lifestyle success. It provides the inspiration and guidance through self hypnosis to achieve the tasks that need to be completed in order to move forward in life – without hindrances. Put another way – it provides a means of removing the proverbial monkey from your back!

Hypnotherapy’s success depends heavily on the client’s motivation. The formula is simple: 100% motivation equals 100% success. Conversely, 0% motivation equals no success!

Unfortunately, some success blockages may be due to factors that are not immediately obvious to the Hypnotherapist as they do not come to light during a session. One such factor is the client’s belief in Reincarnation and an even deeper belief in having lived past lives.

Here are a couple of examples:

Client 1 has had several Hypnotherapy Sessions to aid in his goal of reducing Alcohol consumption. Client 1 is motivated yet can not fully able to drop the habit. A Past Life Regression Session discovers that the client lived a past life as a Confederate Soldier who was badly wounded during battle. To aid him in his final hours his friends gave him substantial amounts of whiskey to dull the pain. He enjoyed the whiskey, and relied on it to help him as he crossed over. Knowing the reason behind his desire to drink – Client 1 can now move on with his recovery.

Client 2 has had a couple of Hypnotherapy Sessions to try and put a stop to her fear of wearing Scarves and Turtle neck Sweaters. A Past Life Regression Session discovers that she was Hung from a tree in a previous life. Anything that was placed around her neck subconsciously reminded her of her previous demise. Knowing the reason behind her paranoia – Client 2 was also able to move on with her recovery.

As can be seen from these simple examples – Past Life Regression can help get to the root of a cause and allow the client to disassociate with the effect (root/cause analysis). The present (the here and now) should not be affected by the past, particularly when there is no binding value from the previous event. The past is there to be learned from, and that is its only value!

It was Buddha who said, “What you are is what you have been, and what you will be is what you do now.” Consider trying a Past Life Regression today. It may just be the X factor that you have been looking for.

Sculpt Your Torso and Incinerate The Belly Fat!

Virtually every single man desires the six pack. It is revered, envied as well as evasive. The struggle to attain a six pack is a notorious one, with countless trainees striving to achieve this goal only to end up right where they started much more frustrated and deflated than ever before. Undoubtedly, attaining a set of six pack abs is challenging and difficult to do. But, there are certain exercises and steps to take which can make the road to attaining a six pack significantly easier than it would normally be.

You will need to train hard. Unfortunately, contrary to what you may have heard, there is no running away from this. Self proclaimed fitness gurus are issuing misleading advice on this matter in a bid so sell you their stuff. Others recommend emphasis on cardio in order to burn the fat covering your abdominal muscles. This doesn’t quite cover it. The thing is, we’ve all got biceps, triceps and even pecs but they are not impressive. The reason for this is a lack of development. The same applies to abs. It’s a low bodyfat, high muscle development combo that results in an impressive looking set of abs! FACT!

Without further ado, let’s get into it shall we? Here are the few exercises that can set a storm brewing in your torso.

1. Incline weighted sit ups – Adding weight to your sit up really ups the stakes and targets your abs really well. Same as any other muscle, resistance is essential to growth so don’t be shy with the weights because however you look at it, you will have to endure pain and pain equals growth. Seasoned bodybuilders are quick to mention that after a certain critical point, the weights feel no different. Preferably, you would perform lots of reps for this so a set of 20 reps for 3 sets should suffice.

2. Hanging leg raises – hanging leg raises pose a number of problems as they involve multiple muscle groups. Your arms and quads may give out way before your abs do. That’s nothing to worry though because this is quite an intense exercise for your abs and within a few reps you should feel them burning. Don’t forget, your legs are relatively heavy so the lifting movement is quite a vigorous exercise for your abs. If you find this too tough, you can do the ‘captain’s chair’ which uses a similar movement although you will need more reps to achieve the same effect. Full hanging leg raises are not very easy and will require prior conditioning before you attempt a full set. You can work up from 6-8 reps for 4 to 5 sets to a full working set of 10-12 reps for the same amount of sets. Adding weight is also a great way to raise the stakes. Remember, I give you a basic blueprint and then you develop it as you go along. My word is not gospel.

3. Heavy Crunches – Crunches with a plate/dumbbell or medicine ball really transform this age-old exercise into something more dynamic, challenging and of course, an effective yet difficult movement. When done with a good range of movement, they can really destroy your abdominals so be warned: they really do hurt. This is a great sign that something is happening so embrace it and keep working! The added weight stimulates serious growth and granted your diet is well taken care of, your abs will grow alarmingly! This is what makes them visually stand out. There is absolutely no doubt that these are very painful but the actual exercise is easy to perform. Unlike the squat of clean and jerk, there is no learning curve. Once you get over the pain, the amount of reps you can actually push out can really shock you. You’ll find yourself powering through 15 or 20 reps when you would have given up after just 10. A good number of repetitions to go for is twenty, for a total of 3 sets. For a weight, I prefer using a 15kg dumbbell but a plate or medicine ball will suffice.

4. Explosive cardiovascular exercise – punching a heavy bag, swimming fast or doing circuit work for a period of between 15 to 20 minutes can test your boundaries while doing the desired job of incinerating lots of calories. Done repeatedly after your workout or separately every other day, this can make a big change to your overall fitness but most importantly, your torso!

Prevention and Cure for Dark Under Eye Circles

There is nothing more that can change your look than having tired looking, gloomy eyes. If you always find yourself flinching whenever you look in the mirror because of your zombie-look due to the dark circles under your eyes, then it’s time to take action. Unless Halloween is just around the corner and you are planning to sport that look, then there is no excuse for you to let those dark circles stay.

There are different causes of dark under eye circles. One is genetics. Dark circles are very common among families with fair skin. Genetics is a very formidable enemy but it is not something you cannot find a way around with. Since this is a problem you’ve been born with, the best treatment for you is the use of eye cream products. An eye cream for dark circles is laden with ingredients that can help change the pigmentation of your skin.

Another reason for dark under eye circles is accumulated blood which leaked through the fragile capillaries around our eye area. Again, one way to treat this problem is to use an eye cream. This time though, it is best to look for an eye cream that can help dissolve the clotted blood on the area and not change the pigmentation of the skin.

Then again, prevention is always better than cure so it is wise to adapt healthy habits to prevent the development of this problem or to stop it from getting severe. One tip is to develop a good sleeping habit. Having eight hours of sleep every night is important because it gives our eyes and the skin around it to rest. Because the capillaries around our eyes are very sensitive, overexerting our eyes like staying up for long hours at night or reading when there is not enough light can cause the capillaries to burst and blood to leak and clot under our eye area.

You can also take vitamin K which helps in repairing damaged blood vessels and encourages circulation of blood. In addition to this, this vitamin also helps in reducing the possibilities of having eye puffiness. Vitamin K is often found on fruits like avocados, kiwis, and leafy green vegetables.

You should also add foods rich in vitamin A in your diet which also helps in repairing damaged skin tissues. Foods like liver, carrots, green vegetables, mangoes, cantaloupe, peaches, and pumpkins are examples.

How to Stop Yourself From Scratching an Itch

Are you wondering how to stop yourself from scratching an itch? Many people think this is a rather trivial question, but if your skin is itching you know that it is a serious matter.

If there are people around you who care about you, and they are aware of this problem, then you have probably heard this advice already more often than you care for: just be patient.

And you already know that it doesn’t work. This isn’t good advice. It might be well-meant advice, but unfortunately it doesn’t help you. Just being patient is not an option, because, well… you’ve tried that so many times already, but willpower, or mental discipline only carries you so far.

So what else can you do?

Wear some kind of special gloves that prevent you from scratching? Tie your hands? Wear a straightjacket? Don’t laugh, but all of these things have been considered valid “treatments” by the medical community for quite some time.

I know of a woman who developed a special concentration technique: she sat on her own hands and then concentrated very intensely on imagining that her hands were paralyzed, that she couldn’t move them. This helped her to not scratch the itch.

If this sounds weird to you: it is. Yes, it worked for her, but intensely imagining that you’re physically disabled day in and day out is not what I consider a solution (and hopefully you neither). And apart from that, if you are involved in any kind of social life, be it work, study or personal, you’re well aware of the fact that there are plenty of situations where it is just not possible to pull that off.

But part of this approach is actually good: using concentration, utilizing the power of your mind. Think about it – yes, itching is a physical sensation that can occur in different parts of your body, but ultimately the brain that processes the signals.

Maybe you have already heard about some people who have the ability to “switch of pain with their mind”. They can put a sharp object through a part of their body and not feel any pain. This is because they use mental concentration.

Hypnosis is a way of switching of pain too – for example, many dentists nowadays use hypnosis instead of injections to make a patient not feel any pain when drilling a hole in their teeth or even when pulling a tooth.

How To Be A Good Singer – 6 Top Tips To Take You To The Next Level

The question of how to be a good singer comes up all the time in vocal circles. There are so many different answers and opinions out there that it can be hard to know where to start. Read on to discover six vital tips that will help you catapult your singing to a whole new level.

1 – I want to stress how important it is to get yourself a good teacher. You can do all the singing you want, but if you want to learn how to be a good singer and don’t have an experienced professional to give you a helping hand, you won’t get very far. Sure, there are singers who are naturally talented, but even they need help to reach their full potential.

2 – It’s a great idea to record yourself practicing. If you can, record your singing in both audio and video format. There is no quicker way to learn than to watch and listen to yourself sing as often as you can. You might cringe at first, and that’s totally normal! But soon you will get over the initial shock of observing yourself singing and be able to see and hear what you’re doing well and what needs improvement. You may surprise yourself by performing in a totally different way than you had imagined. Or you may sound completely different than you thought you did. This is all part of learning how to be a good singer, and it’ll help you to progress much faster.

3 – You can also put on small-scale concerts for family and friends. Just make sure that you are fully prepared to sing in front of other people, as this is a totally different experience from singing on your own. A good tip is to sing for a good friend first, who is kind and understands what you want from your singing. They don’t have to be a musical expert, but you have to trust them enough to ask for honest feedback. Whatever you do, don’t sing for anyone who could knock your confidence, otherwise you might never want to sing again! Anyone who can’t give you some encouragement as you learn how to be a good singer is not worth singing for.

4 – Practice a little bit every single day. Fifteen minutes a day is much better for your voice than two hours on a Sunday and then nothing the rest of the week. Your vocal health is so important, and singing little and often will help protect your voice from hoarseness, tiredness and more serious vocal problems. Don’t jump straight into singing your favorite song or aria at the beginning of your practice session; instead, do some physical and warm-ups to prepare yourself. You would never see a hundred-meter sprinter go straight into a race without warming up first. Your voice is no different – just a few minutes of warm-up will help you get ready for some serious singing!

5 – Another tip that can really help you build up your voice is to stay still when you practice. It can be far too tempting to move or dance around the room when you sing! If you want to add movement and dance to a performance, that’s fine, but first of all just stand and sing. This will focus all your attention on your voice and means that you can get used to the feeling of just singing. After all, the main thing you are learning here is how to be a good singer, not a good dancer! When you record yourself singing this way, you will learn the most about what works and what doesn’t work vocally. You can move a little, of course – you’re not a robot! But keep all extra movements to a minimum to begin with, and stand with an upright and relaxed posture. Imagine that there’s a thread coming out of the top of your head, gently holding you in a beautiful posture!

6 – Finally, watch, listen and learn as much as you can. There are examples of all kinds of singing on the internet, TV and radio, as well as your local library and concert venue. Going to see live music is another excellent activity, as you can watch and listen to the pros and learn from them. Don’t just listen to the music you already know. Be adventurous and find out about all types of music, including unfamiliar popular genres, musicals and opera. The more styles you can become familiar with, the better.

If you follow these tips you can gain a lot confidence as a singer. Perform as often as you can, record yourself singing, and put in those practice sessions – you’ll be thankful later down the line, as this is when you really learn how to be good singer!

Bulimia Tips No 5 – Work on Loving Yourself

It’s a vicious circle really. You’re not happy with yourself and your life so you try to lose yourself in your eating disorder. When you’re binging and purging up to 10 times a day you avoid people, feel awful about yourself and just want to curl up and die. It’s the self loathing that perpetuates this destructive behavior. The 5th of my bulimia tips series has to do with restoring self love and learning to love YOU again.

Lack of self esteem is frequently associated with eating disorders in women. As a recovered bulimic, I can tell you the need to please others, especially parents, is very high. A significant number of women with bulimia also are perfectionists, lack self-worth and are constantly striving to live up to ideals they set for themselves or perceive in society.

Self love is not about conceit or vanity; nor is it something that diminishes your ability to love others. Self love is simply about valuing yourself for who you are and recognizing you are whole and perfect just as you are. Feelings of inadequacy keep bulimics from realizing their value and locked in their destructive patterns. When you can learn to love yourself just as you are, then you are free.

Here are 10 bulimia tips to learn to love yourself again:

Don’t compare yourself with others. There is only one YOU in the world. Stop looking at other people’s lives and beating yourself up because you don’t have what others have.

Surround yourself with positive people. Don’t be around people who drain your light, love and energy. Be with people who bolster your sense of self and who know how wonderful you are.

Speak kindly to yourself. We all engage in self-talk. Negative self talk will pop up, but do your best to cancel it and ignore negative thoughts, too. Speak to yourself in a gentle and caring manner and forgive yourself when you make a mistake.

Learn to trust your judgment. This is an important one of my bulimia tips that you learn to trust your instincts. If you have a gut feeling about what is good for you and your bulimia recovery then your feeling is probably right.

It’s OK to say you’re OK. Thinking of yourself as being a good, kind, competent, intelligent person is a good thing! Don’t feel guilty about feeling good about yourself. Self love is about valuing yourself without guilt and about seeing all that the good there is inside of you.

Learn to accept and enjoy compliments. When someone says something nice about you acknowledge and accept it. Try not to be suspicious of people who compliment you and instead let their words soak in and feed your inner being.

Don’t bend over backward to please others. To incorporate these bulimia tips into your recovery you need to prioritize yourself. If this means not striving to please others or doing what others want you to do, so much the better!

Accept that you are lovable. When you begin to love yourself you will let others love you and be able to love others, as well. You are probably pushing away intimacy (or are at least uncomfortable with it). Come to a new awareness that you’re deserving of love from others and there are others who want to love you – and many who already do.

Be ok with not being perfect. The drive to be perfect gets in the way of being the real YOU. Your job in this life is to be you… not perfect. Love and accept yourself as perfect just for being you.

Have fun without feeling guilty. This is so huge I can’t scream it loud enough. If you feel that you somehow don’t deserve to be happy or if you feel guilty each time you’re happy, LET IT GO. Feeling good and enjoying yourself is what life is all about. It is our divine nature to be happy.

You deserve to be happy, you deserve to be loved and equally you deserve to love yourself. You are wonderful and unique. You are the most perfect expression of you that you can be and that’s all you’re supposed to be. Cherish yourself. Love yourself. This is one of the most important bulimia tips I wish for you to really take to heart.

Wondering What to Read Next? Read This for Seven Ingenious Sources for Book Recommendations

If you’re feeling bereft having finished your book, it can be hard to know where to turn for advice on your next read. If your friends and family members are anything like mine, they’ll be keen to foist books on you that you must read – but it can be embarrassing to admit you hated the book that changed their life (The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho springs to mind), and aggrieving to realise how much valuable reading time you’ve lost wading through dross. Going it alone and simply stacking your trolley with whatever books are on Tesco’s 3 for 2 offer tends to yield similarly unsatisfying results. Here are a few suggestions for places to try for recommendations that will hit your literary spot.

1. Online tools There are a number of online tools for generating book recommendations. They generally don’t have a huge pool of books to draw from, and are quite limited in scope. Whichbook has a number of categories that allow you to set your reading preferences on certain scales: e.g. ‘Happy’ – ‘Sad’. It’s a bit simplistic, but its kind of fun to play with: I experimented with setting the preferences to maximise both ‘Disgusting’ and ‘Lots of sex’, and it yielded Filth – Irvine Welsh, and American Psycho – Bret Easton Ellis, so I suppose it works after a fashion.

2. Book blogs These days the Internet is awash with book geeks blogging about their latest reads. Some are eclectic, based on an individual’s reading patterns, others are genre-specific. There are so many that it should be relatively easy to find kindred spirits, particularly if you’re into genre fiction.

3. Book reviews in the papers It sounds obvious, but reviews in the press can be a reliable source of recommendations. The best way to use papers is to find a publication or reviewer whose opinions you respect and check it regularly to see what’s getting hyped. Lots of review sections have twitter accounts (try @GuardianBooks) so you can get regular recommendations this way.

4. Major book awards For example The Costa Book awards, The Man Booker Prize, The Nobel prize for Literature. This can be good for picking up brilliant established authors. However, it’s best not to get too obsessive with this one – I had a friend who decided to work his way backwards chronologically reading a work by the Nobel prize-winner from each year. I’m not sure how far he got, but the prospect of ploughing through the lectures on Swedish medieval farming history by Carl Gustaf Verner von Heidenstam (Nobel Prize winner 1916) would be enough to send me running back to Richard and Judy’s book club.

5. Amazon.com recommendations Generally I find online store recommendations annoying, but if you do buy lots of books this way then they can be useful once they’ve been tweaked a bit. They are best for telling you the certain books that ‘everyone’ has read, and getting said book into your hands quicksharp – if you’re still cringing at the memory of being the only one at your book club meeting who hadn’t read Life of Pi.

6. Literary festivals and events To take your bookwormery to the next level, check out festivals and events showcasing upcoming and established authors’ work. Besides the big literary festivals Hay, Cheltenham and Edinburgh, there are numerous one-off events at bookshops that are sometimes free, and it’s fun to hear people read their work.

7. Local independent bookshops In my opinion there’s no substitute for heading to your local indie bookshop for a browse. Unlike in Tesco’s, the staff will be real enthusiasts and more than happy to help you out with some recommendations.

Information on Surrogacy – How to Find a Surrogate Mother

When you’re talking about information on surrogacy, one of the biggest questions a couple has after determining that surrogacy is right for them is just where to go to find a surrogate mother. The truth of the matter is, that like most things in surrogacy, there is no one right answer.

Information on Surrogacy – Using a Matching Agency

There are hundreds of surrogacy agencies throughout the world ready to assist intended parents with matching with a surrogate mother. In addition to matching services, most of these agencies also provide services such as escrow, liaison, and even legal services.

Surrogacy agencies vary in price, but easily add on thousands, to tens of thousands of dollars to the cost of the surrogacy. Often, however, this is a small price to pay for the benefit of finding the right surrogate mother.

Information on Surrogacy – Independent Matching

Many intended parents choose to cut out the cost of an agency from the already expensive process of surrogacy and match on their own. Often, intended parents will place ads on surrogacy classified boards online, or even take out advertisement in local publications.

Often, intended parents will start looking for a surrogate in this manner, but end up using an agency for the convenience and experience.

Information on Surrogacy – Matching Through a Lawyer or Clinic

Other intended parents are already utilizing the services of a surrogacy lawyer, or infertility clinic that has access to surrogate mothers. Sometimes these services are provided as an extra fee to the current services the intended parents are taking part in, while other times this is included in their cost. Many surrogacy arrangements are matched via lawyers or infertility clinics.

Information on Surrogacy- Matching Through Word of Mouth

Believe it or not, but some of the best matches for surrogacy happen through word of mouth. An intended mother might tell a co-worker that she is looking into surrogacy, for example, and the co-worker mentions it to her sister. The sister was looking to become a surrogate, and the match is made!

This might seem overly simplistic, but the fact of the matter is, surrogate mothers are found this way on a regular basis. It might not be a co-worker; it could be a neighbor, a friend’s mother, or even an online friend.

Information on Surrogacy- Matching with a Family Member

Which brings us to our final, and honestly, best, way of matching a set of intended parents with a surrogate mother. Some intended parents are lucky enough to match with a member of their own family.

A sister, cousin, or mother makes an excellent surrogate, bringing the family closer together and saving the intended parents a lot of money which they will be needing as they begin to raise their children.

Whichever way that a surrogate mother and her intended parents match, it is just the beginning of a deeply committed process of one family helping another become parents.
